WARRANTY, EXCHANGES, AND RETURNS POLICY

Warranty
We offer a 30-day warranty on all our products. This warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects identified during the production process. The following damages are not covered:

Severe impacts or exposure to chemicals.

Natural wear and tear due to regular use.
It is important to note that external factors may affect the durability of jewelry and fall outside the scope of our warranty.
Repairs
Repairs are estimated to take 10 to 15 business days. For customers located in provinces, MAPA JOYA will cover shipping costs if the repair falls under warranty. Otherwise, these costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
To request a repair, please send an email to info@mapajoya.com including:

A description of the issue.

A photograph of the affected jewelry.

Your identification document number.
We will review the request and inform you if the repair is covered under warranty. If not, a cost estimate will be provided. Once approved, instructions for delivering the jewelry to our facilities will be shared.
Exchanges
To request an exchange, the notification must be made within 7 days of purchase, ensuring that the product is in perfect condition, unused, and accompanied by its original packaging.
If the alternative piece involves an additional cost, the customer will be notified via email.
Requirements for requesting an exchange:

Personal information: Type and number of identification document, full name (or company name, in the case of legal entities).

Purchase details: Product type, price, and purchase date.

Reason for the exchange.

Once all the required information is received, our team will coordinate the exchange process. Original shipping costs will not be refunded, and the cost of the new delivery will be borne by the customer.
Returns
To request a refund, the request must be made within 7 days of purchase. To do so, the customer must send an email to info@mapajoya.com including:

The company will respond to the request within 3 business days.

The shipment of the jewelry to our facilities in Lima, Peru (Miraflores or Lima Norte), will be coordinated. Shipping costs and responsibility for the delivery will be assumed by the customer.

Upon receipt of the jewelry, an evaluation will be conducted within 4 business days.

If the jewelry is confirmed to be in perfect condition, a refund will be issued within 5 business days.
Important considerations:

Refunds will be subject to deductions for administrative and logistical costs, such as courier services, payment gateways, packaging, and others. The exact percentage to be deducted will be communicated to the customer.

Whenever possible, MAPA JOYA will offer the option to exchange the product as an alternative to a refund.
Custom Designs and Made-to-Order Jewelry
For custom designs or made-to-order jewelry, exchanges and refunds are not accepted, as these pieces are crafted specifically to meet the customer’s requirements.
