Jewelry Delivery After Purchase

Delivery timelines apply exclusively to in-stock jewelry. For custom-made or out-of-stock pieces, our team will reach out to confirm the estimated delivery date.

For custom-made items, the estimated delivery time is 3 to 4 weeks from the approval of the final design. However, we maintain direct communication to establish a precise timeline.

Delivery Timelines

All shipments originate from Lima, Peru. Delivery times are calculated in business days and may be affected by public holidays in either the shipping or destination location.

  • Lima Metropolitan Area: Estimated delivery within 3 to 6 business days.
  • Provinces in Peru: Estimated delivery within 5 to 8 business days.
  • International Shipments: Estimated delivery within 7 to 10 business days

Costs do not include local taxes, customs duties, or other fees in the destination country, which must be covered by the customer.

Delivery times may vary depending on production or shipping demand. However, we ensure consistent communication with customers throughout the process.

Terms of Delivery

Delivery will be deemed successfully completed when the package is received at the address provided by the customer. However, MAPA JOYA is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events.

The shipping company may fail to deliver the package in the following cases:

  • Incorrect or untraceable address.
  • Absence of the recipient at the specified address.
  • Refusal of the package by the recipient.

If the shipping company is unable to deliver the package, it will be returned to MAPA JOYA. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred for resending the package.

The customer will be contacted within 7 business days to arrange a new delivery. If the delivery is not completed within this timeframe, the customer will forfeit the right to claim the jewelry, and no refunds will be issued.

Adjustments to Purchased Jewelry

If adjustments are required for a purchased item, the customer must visit one of our locations in Lima, Peru (Miraflores or Lima Norte). If this is not feasible, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs, including the liability associated with transportation.Invoicing

Upon confirmation of the purchase, the customer will receive an electronic receipt or invoice, depending on the option selected during payment.

WARRANTY, EXCHANGES, AND RETURNS POLICY

Repairs

Repairs are estimated to take 10 to 15 business days. For customers located in provinces, MAPA JOYA will cover shipping costs if the repair falls under warranty. Otherwise, these costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

  • A description of the issue.
  • A photograph of the affected jewelry.
  • Your identification document number.

We will review the request and inform you if the repair is covered under warranty. If not, a cost estimate will be provided. Once approved, instructions for delivering the jewelry to our facilities will be shared.

Exchanges

To request an exchange, the notification must be made within 7 days of purchase, ensuring that the product is in perfect condition, unused, and accompanied by its original packaging.

If the alternative piece involves an additional cost, the customer will be notified via email.
